Foster care service

Parents for Children was established in 1976 and has over 30 years’ experience of finding homes for children with special needs. In 1997 we began a specialised fostering and short break service for this same group of children, mainly within a 50-mile radius of London. In our 30th year, we are expanding our fostering service to cover Northamptonshire.

We specialise in placing:

  • Children with physical disabilities
  • Children with learning difficulties
  • Children who have suffered abuse or neglect
  • Children with complex health needs
  • Children affected by their parents’ use of drugs and alcohol
  • Older children
  • Sibling groups
